Our aim is to provide a system"as simples as it can be" to all users and visitors on Algarve Rentals. However, you are welcome to browse this section to find some answers to the most Frequently asked Questions.

Why Algarve Rentals? - Your advantages!

The Price
As there are no Real Estate Agents, Tourist Operators, Travel Agents, involved - Property Owners offer there Holiday Accommodations, Long Term Properties or Commercial Premises for a much better price.
It is not unusual finding rental properties 15% to 50% cheaper then practiced with professional companies.
   
The Quality
As Property Owners spend their own holidays in their Property, too. Usually those apartments or villas are better equipped then you will find them in "mass tourism".
   
The direct contact to the Property Owner
You are contacting directly the Property Owner. He is the person who knows best the property then anyone else.
You will receive reliable information about all details.
Ex: Views, equipment, access, distance to the beach or other facilities as Hospitals, Supermarkets, etc.
   


Basic rules for your Bookings.

Ask the Property Owner a maximum of questions regarding the equipment, general conditions of the Property, exact location, facilities, etc. Do not be shy.
   
Ask for more images of the property.
   
Do not forget to ask about what is included or not includend with your payment/reservation. (Taxes, cleaning, changings, etc.). Always mention you Arrival and Departure time.
   
Print and keep a copy of the property you have chosen.
   
As you arrive, make an inventory of the Property. Best is, as you have it with you, using your camera or camcorder. This is 5 minutes "work" and can save you a lot of trouble.
   
Try not paying the total ammount for your holiday accomodation in advance. It is common paying up to 50% deposit and 50% at the day of your arrival. (Keys in your hand)
   
Try not negotiating a discout per email, a simple phone call can do much more.
   
Try not renting a property for long term without viewing it before.
   
Always ask for a rentals agreement according to the portuguese law. (Long Term Rentals)

Receive any Booking or information request directly to your e-mailbox.

Edit your Property listing at any time during publication. (Images, Description, Price, Google Maps, etc.)


How do I add my Property to the Database?

Adding your Property to our database should be a simple task for any Property Owner.

1. REGISTER at Algarve Rentals using our Register form and confirm your registration per email.

2. Login with your Username/Password you have chosen during the registration process.

3. Click the link "ADD PROPERTY" at the Top Menu.

4. Fill in the form with your details, Property details, description, add images, choose the category... done!

How to change/update my Property details?

As a Property Owner you are able to change or update your Property added to our database at any time. (Details, description, images, prices, etc.)

1. Login with your Username/Password.

2. Navigate to your Property listed at our database.

3. Click the Button "Edit" and change you Property details as you wish.

Note: If you click "Delete", your Property will be deleted from our system!

How much does it cost to add my Property?

Add your Property to our Database for 1 month for €4,90.

Add your Property to our Database for 12 month for €39,90.


Is there any extra fee or commission to pay?

No.


How can I proceed the payments, and how long does it take to publish my Property?

PayPal/VISA (Online) | immediately.

Bank Transfer - up to 2, International up to 4 Business days

Cheque (Post) - up to 2 Business days

After submitting your Property to our Database, you will receive an email including all payment details.
We will publish your property after receiving the total amount of your payment within 12h.
